Description
Prairie Lily Early Learning Centre is looking for positive, hardworking individuals to join our team as Early Childhood Educators. We are a well-established center located in the Normanview community, and we also opened a new Centre in Fall of 2017 within Sacred Heart Community School. The ECEs hired for this position will be hired to work at our Sacred Heart location. We are incredibly excited for this opportunity to grow and develop our Centre, and hope that whoever joins us in these positions will share the excitement and dreams that we have for our Centre! We are excited to welcome you and your ideas into our programs.
We work very hard to establish and provide a relaxing, home-like environment for all the children in our care while following the provincial "Play and Exploration" guide. Applicants with some Early Childhood Education and a genuine understanding Play and Exploration approach are preferred.
We will be looking to hire individuals who are fun, creative and caring to continue to shape our Center to be one that cares for all the needs of a child. Your role, as the chosen applicant, will be to educate our children and to help them grow and develop into happy, healthy humans. You will be responsible for daily planning/programming, cleaning and maintenance, and ensuring that Play and Exploration is being used at all times.
In our Centres, we have children anywhere from 8 weeks to 12 years of age, and experience working with any of these age groups would be an asset. Please specify in your application/cover letter which age group you would like to be considered for. We will not guarantee that you end up with your preferred age group, but would make an effort for all chosen applicants to be in an area where they will thrive and be successful. All full-time positions will be Monday to Friday, with varying hours. Some overtime may be required.
