Description

Eastview Centre for Early Learning Cooperative requires a full-time Early Childhood Educator to join our team! This is a summer student position from May to August (dates are negotiable).  To be eligible for this position, the student must meet the following criteria:

1. Were registered as a full-time student during the 2016-17 academic year
2. Intend to return to school full-time for the 2017-2018 academic year
3. Are between the ages of 18 - 30

Eastview Centre is located within Ecole Alvin Buckwold School and strives to provide high quality early learning and childcare to children ages 3 to 12 years in a home away from home atmosphere. Duties include providing learning opportunities through play based experiences that foster children's development, maintaining a safe and nuturing environment, planning and supervision of excursions, cleaning and organizing of the learning environment as well as some light cooking.

Early Childhood Certification and/or experience working with children are assets.  Candidates must have or be willing to obtain certification in Standard First Aid / CPR. A Criminal Record Check will also be required.
