Location:  Cameron Park Early Learning Centre – Kelowna, BC
  
Okanagan Boys and Girls Clubs invite applications from qualified individuals to work at our Cameron Park Early Learning Centre providing direct care to children under 6. This position is temporary and will run until September 11, 2018.

• We offer a 10% discount offered to employee whose children are registered in our child care programs, including preschool, day care, and after school care programs. This discount will be offered to all Agency staff that work 20 hours a week or more, and have passed their probationary period.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
• Assist in the development and implementation of programs and activities that are consistent with agency core values and core programming areas. Ensure that programs developed, engage members, address healthy positive child development and provides members with a sense of belonging.
• Provide a nurturing, fun and safe environment for children
• Establish positive relationships and open communication with parents/guardians
• Ensure that specific goals of the children and program are met

Qualifications:
• Early Childhood Educator with current License to Practice
• Infant Toddler certification an asset
• Current First Aid Certificate
• Minimum one year related experience
• Successful completion of Agency screening process, including a criminal record check

This position is open to male and female applicants.
This position requires union membership.

Hours: 40 hours per week: Monday to Friday

Rate of Pay: $16.00 per hour
