Early Childhood Educator

Prospective Investment Inc. DBA CEFA Crestwood Junior Kindergarten in Richmond, BC is looking for  Full-Time, Permanent Early Childhood Educators.

Conditions
• Position: Early Childhood Educator (Full Time, Permanent Position)
• Full-Time position, 40 hrs/week (shifted schedule) 8 hours a day.
• Hourly Wage: $17.00-21.00/hour (Wage decided by experience and skills)
• Vacation: 10 days Paid vacation / year
• Number of Positions: 2

Requirements:
• Education: A bachelor’s degree or college diploma/Certificate in early childhood education is required.
• Experience: Previous childcare working experience would be a great asset
• Criminal Record Check

Job Duties;
• Develop and implement daily activities that support and promote the development of children
• Help children develop a passion for learning
• Lead children in activities by telling or reading stories, teaching songs, demonstrating the use of simple musical instruments, preparing craft materials and demonstrating their use, providing opportunities for creative expression through the media of art, dramatic play, music and physical fitness, and taking the children to local points of interest
• Observe children for sings of learning disabilities or emotional problems and take appropriate action
• Encourage children, parents and staff to develop lasting and meaningful friendships with one another
• Help all parents participate in their child’s education
