Precious Early Years Childcare is looking for an Early Childhood Educator to work with us at our main facility located at 818 20th Street, New Westminster, BC. We are looking for someone who is a team player, able to manage multiple tasks in a timely manner, and most importantly, understand children’s growth and development and enjoying working with them.

Title: Early Childhood Educator
Opening: 1 position (Permanent, Full-time)
Wage: CAD 16 per hour, 40 hours per week
Benefit: 4% of each pay, professional workshops paid by the center
Location: 818 20th Street New Westminster B.C. V3M 4W8

Basic requirements:
• First Aid certificate
• BC Early Childhood Educator's License
• Criminal Record Check
• Immunization record
• Three reference, cover letter and resume

Work Experience:
• At least three years of experience working with children age 0 to 5

Main Duties:
• Design and develop programs suitable for children’s cognitive, emotional, and social development
• Talk, sing, and read to children
• Maintain a friendly relationship with children and their parents
• Build feelings of security and trust in children, and monitor their daily activities
• Share information regarding the learning progress of children with parents and other educators
• Maintain a safe and clean environment, and assist in regular housekeeping duties
• Assist manager in keeping records
