The Babies Castle Daycare Ltd. DBA The Babies Castle Daycare in North Vancouver, BC is looking for Full-Time, Permanent Early Childhood Educators.

Conditions
• Position: Early Childhood Educator
• Full-Time position, 40 hrs/week (shifted schedule) 8 hours a day.
• Hourly Wage: $16.00 - 19.00/hour
• Benefits: 10 days paid vacation/year
• Number of Positions: 2

Requirements:
• Experience: 1 year or more experience as a Early Childhood Educator or Assistant
• Education: College diploma in early childhood education
• Language: English

Job Duties;
• Develop and implement daily activities that support and promote the development of children
• Help children develop a passion for learning
• Encourage and support each child
• Lead children in activities by telling or reading stories, teaching songs, demonstrating the use of simple musical instruments, preparing craft materials and demonstrating their use, providing opportunities for creative expression through the media of art, dramatic play, music and physical fitness, and taking the children to local points of interest
• Observe children for sings of learning disabilities or emotional problems and take appropriate action
• Encourage children, parents and staff to develop lasting and meaningful friendships with one another
• Help all parents participate in their child’s education
