ECE Teacher (Surrey)

 

Position : Early Childhood Educator

Work Location : 10840 133A Street, BC, V3T 4A6

Salary : $14.00 ~ $15.00 per hour

Terms : Permanent, Full-time (37.5 hours per week)

Placement : As soon as possible

 

Gateway Community Childcare Centre Society DBA The Children's Centre At Gateway (Discovery Time Day Care) is providing a child care program for children between the ages of 10 months to 5 yrs.

Our program is geared to enhance the intellectual, social, emotional, physical and creative development of your child and one which allows children to develop at thir own individual pace.

We would like to add new teacher to our centre. Now we are looking for ECE qualified teacher as below.

* Licence : ECE Licence to practice in BC

* Qualification :

- Completion of High School

- Completion of college/vocational training in early childhood education

- No experience is required, but experience is an asset

 

Main Job Duties :

- Provide a daily balance of active/quiet, indoor/outdoor, and individual/group activities

- Establish and carry out a daily activity schedule that incorporates child directed activity, care routines nd transition times

- Assist children in expressing themselves by listening and responding with questions or comment that extend conversations

- Encourage and assist children to practice self help daily

- Plan and carry out experiences that foster an understanding of a variety of cultures and value systems
