Little Hands Child Care Inc. Little hands Child Care, located at 1303 Fairfield Road, Victoria, BC, is looking for a qualified full-time Early Childhood Educator with an ECE license and experience working with children. All prospective staff must be screened during the interview process, which includes checking criminal records, personal and employment references, educational background, and an updated medical history. To fully qualifiy for this position, one should love working with children and be committed, responsible, well-organized, and creative. In addition, one must be friendly, loving, honest, trustworthy, and emotionally secure, communicate in a gentle and positive manner, and perform the following duties:

• Implement developmentally appropriate activities in all curriculum areas.
• Facilitate children's learning through exploring, experimenting, and discovering.
• Respect children's dignity, ideas, and feelings.
• Establish and maintain a safe and enriching learning environment.
• Build trusting relationships with children, coworkers, and families.
• Help children learn appropriate problem-solving skills.
• Perform related work as required.

Qualifications:

• A BC ECE License to Practice.
• Completion of a college program or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education. 
• Experience working in a childcare or preschool setting.
• Current First Aid Certificate.
• An immunization history and medical clearance from a physician stating mental and physical capability to work with children will be required at the time of hiring.
• Ability to pass a Criminal Record Check.
