The Beautiful Montessori Daycare is seeking a F/T Early Childhood Educator
Position: Early Childhood Educator
Wage: $15.00/hr
Benefits:
? 10 days paid vacation per year or
? 4% of vacation pay
Term of Employment: Permanent, Full-time
Job Duties:
1. Plan and implement developmental programs based on observation of individual children
2. Observe and record children's growth, behavior and development, and discuss these with parents
3. Integrate children with special needs into the program, modifying the program and the physical environment if necessary
4. Prepare play and learning materials and set up the children's environment
5. Supervise children's play, ensuring their physical safety at all times
6. Help children with daily routines such as toileting, dressing, eating and sleeping
7. Guide children's behavior and social development
8. Prepare light snacks and meals
9. Maintain a safe, clean and appealing environment
10. Performs other related duties as required.
Job Requirements:
? Completion of a two- to four-year college program in early childhood education
? Current BC ECE License to Practice
