Early Childhood Educator Assistant Skills

Discuss progress and problems of children at staff meetings; Bathe, diaper and feed infants and toddlers; Support early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of children; Engage children in activities by telling stories, teaching songs and preparing crafts; Prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods; Submit written observations on children to early childhood educators or supervisors

Program description:

This position is being delivered by Industry Canada and focuses on secondary student to assist in e-business strategies. To be eligible for this position you must meet the following criteria: Be between 15 and 30 years old at the project start date (inclusive); must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident of Canada or person who has been granted refugee status in Canada and legally entitled to work in Canada; (For Summer Work Experience Stream) Be enrolled in a post-secondary education program (or have recently graduated from such program) and intending to return to school , or (For Career Focused Program Stream) be a recent-secondary graduate (have demonstrated skills achievement at the post-secondary level); Be pursuing education in an e-business and/or an ICT related field, which may include any field where ICT knowledge and skills are important e.g. computer sciences, media design, business, engineering; Employed full time from 12 – 14 weeks for a continuous period.
