Forest Grove Child Care Centre is seeking a F/T Early Childhood Educator
Term of Employment: Permanent, Full-time
Wage: $16.00 per hour
Working location: #36-37, 8650 Cinnamon Dr., Burnaby, BC V5A 4H7
Benefit: 4% vacation pay
Job Duties:
1. Plan and implement developmental programs based on observation of individual children
2. Observe and record children's growth, behavior and development, and discuss these with parents
3. Integrate children with special needs into the program, modifying the program and the physical environment if necessary
4. Prepare play and learning materials and set up the children's environment
5. Supervise children's play, ensuring their physical safety at all times
6. Help children with daily routines such as toileting, dressing, eating and sleeping
7. Guide children's behavior and social development
8. Prepare light snacks and meals
9. Maintain a safe, clean and appealing environment
10. Performs other related duties as required.

Job Requirements:
ECE License to Practice in BC is required.
Completion of a two- to four-year college program in early childhood education
Language Requirements:
English
