ECE Career Opportunity September 2017

This is a wonderful career opportunity for an ECE to advance his/her career while gaining experience in a high quality educational setting. We are seeking an Early Childhood Educator to co-teach our Montessori Preschool & Kindergarten Program (ages 3 – 6). We are offering on-the-job training with our dedicated and supportive team as well as financial assistance in obtaining Montessori teaching credentials. 

The ideal candidate will hold a keen interest in the Montessori philosophy. He/she must display a willingness to complete ongoing training while actively working to improve personal knowledge and understanding of the Montessori Method.

We are looking for an individual who is well organized, creative and driven. The successful candidate will display great leadership and communication abilities. Most importantly, the applicant must be passionate about teaching and eager to ignite a love for learning in our students!

Job Duties:

• Prepare and implement daily presentations with Montessori materials;
• Maintain a consistent alignment with the Montessori philosophy in all areas of teaching;
• Carefully prepare the Montessori classroom environment;
• Assist with planning and attend school community events/celebrations;
• Compile theme-based curriculum and related crafts & activities;
• Observe and record student progress;
• Meet with parents to discuss child’s progress;
• Organize outdoor games and supervise these times.

Requirements:

• Early Childhood Educator Diploma;
• First Aid Certificate (One-day course).

Hours: 35 – 40 / week
