Description

Part Time Position
The Early Childhood Educator will be responsible for planning and implementing daily activities for children between the ages of 6 weeks - 12 years old.  

Qualifications:
Prefer ECE 1, 11 or 111 or equivalent.  Willing to work towards a certificate or diploma - funding may be available for classes

Responsible, good team player, good communication skills, able to plan fun activities, based on children's needs and interests, able to take initiative, willing to assist with housekeeping duties, decision making, problem solving, First Aide, CPR required or willing to obtain within 3 months.

Successful applicants will be required to provide a Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check.

 - Maintain day care supplies and equipment

 - Knowledge of licensing regulations
 - Assess the developmental level of children
 - Provide supervision and guidance of daily activities, field trips and special activities
 - Provide opportunity for creative expression through the mediums of art, dramatic play and music
