Description
We are presently looking for a creative and energetic educator to join our dynamic team environment at our brand new child care facility, Pilot Butte Early Learning Centre, located in Pilot Butte, 15 minutes East of Regina.
The individual would be responsible for preparing and providing age appropriate daily experiences that follow the Play and Exploration Philosophy including excursions and special activities for toddlers, preschoolers, and school age children.
Along with ensuring the safe supervision of all children's well being that exceeds the licensing standards, the successful candidate will also pose as a support/floater for other staff.
The above position requires positive role modelling that works toward fostering staff, family, and community involvement.
Credential Requirements:
-Candidates with Early Childhood Education Level III, II Certification
-Experience working with children
-Clear criminal record check
-Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
Personal and Professional Qualification
-Be genuine, reliable, and resourceful
-Pose effective communication skills; both verbally and written
-Work under limited supervision in a team setting
-Assist in housekeeping duties
-Knowledge of licensing regulations
-Ability to problem-solve and make on the spot decisions

Credentials
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certificate
- First Aid Certificate
Early Childhood Education Skills
- Assess the developmental level of children
- Provide supervision and guidance of daily activities, field trips and special activities
- Provide opportunity for creative expression through the mediums of art, dramatic play and music
