Description

The Hazlet Early Learning Centre is currently seeking an enthsiastic, nurturing and passionate educator for a part-time/full-time (flexible) position.  Requirements include: a minimum of 18 years of age and a criminal record check.  Job duties include:  plan, prepare and implement daily activities (indoor&outdoor) as they relate to Play and Exploration; provide supervision and guidance of daily learning activities, field trips and other activities; offer opportunities for creativ eexpression through mediums of art, dramatic play and music.  Provide a warm, safe and caring environment that is kept orderly, clean and appealing; model developmentally appropriate activities and positive behavior management techniques through daily contact with children and early childhood staff; demonstrate behavior that is professional, ethical and responsible; assist with other duties as required; maintain good communication with parents on a daily basis.

 - Guide children in development of proper eating, dressing and toilet habits
 - Observe children and report on observations to supervisor
 - Prepare and serve snacks
 - Prepare craft materials and assist children to use them
