Fanshawe celebrated the grand opening of its Centre for Advanced Research and Innovation in Biotechnology (CARIB). This bright and modern state-of-the-art facility provides students and faculty with over 13,000 square feet of new biology, chemistry, instrumentation and physics labs. It also has incubator and research space for collaboration with industry partners.
Building of the Centre was made possible through a $4 million investment from the federal government as part of the Post-Secondary Institutions Strategic Investment Fund and a $2.2 million investment from the Government of Ontario. Fanshawe contributed $2.8 million toward the project.
